Tim Flowers labelled Barnet “a team of losers” as they slipped to yet another defeat, this time losing 2-0 at home to National League promotion hopefuls Wrexham.

“Listen, when I stand in there, I’m not buttering them up. I don’t care if they like me, I really don’t care. But the players have to know the home truths.”
Flowers was frustrated to see his players making, what he feels, are the same mistakes in each game. Firstly by not converting the opportunities they create and secondly by not doing as well as he believes they should be in defence.
“They’re poor goals to concede and once again I’m standing here saying the same story,” he said.
“We did create chances but we didn’t convert them, and unfortunately it’s the same old, same old, same old. Not only do…
