Newcastle United are targeting four Manchester United stars in the January transfer window, with the Magpies keen on Anthony Martial, Donny van de Beek, Jesse Lingard and Eric Bailly.

The Magpies were bought by a Saudi-backed consortium last week for £300m, bringing to an end 14 years of under investment from Mike Ashley.

Steve Bruce is expected to be sacked in the near future, with the Magpies reportedly lining up Brighton’s Graham Potter as his successor.

Newcastle’s new-found wealth means they can afford any player in the world and they’ll show ambition in January by targeting a host of players from Old Trafford.

The club are now minded to sell and could cash in on Newcastle’s new-found riches, though it’s unclear if Martial would accept a move to the Magpies.

Lingard opted to stay at Old Trafford last summer, despite interest from West Ham.

The England international is into the final year of his deal at the club and though discussions have been held over an extension, United are no closer to…
