The Chiefs have placed starting running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire on injured reserve, meaning the former first-round pick will at least miss Kansas City’s next three games. As CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reported Monday, Edwards-Helaire suffered a sprained knee in Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills that will sideline him for the next few weeks with a possible return at some point next month. While the injury was not as serious as it initially looked in the moment Sunday night, it will still keep him sidelined for the next few weeks.
