Tyson Fury’s co-promoter Frank Warren believes Anthony Joshua’s camp should be considering stepping aside to allow Oleksandr Usyk to fight the Gypsy King in a unification bout.

Fury has been granted 30 days to try and agree a unification fight with Usyk – who holds the other three belts – but the Ukrainian is contracted to fight Joshua for a second time after AJ triggered a rematch clause.

Warren feels Joshua should give serious consideration to stepping aside after being outboxed and outclassed by Usyk last month and is not convinced he will fare any better in the rematch, particularly without any tune-up fights in between.

He continued: ‘If he takes it [the Usyk rematch], he takes it. If I was…
