After the biggest event of the fall portion of the PGA Tour season, the grinders and up-and-coming players return to the spotlight at the 2022 Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Rory McIlroy won the star-studded CJ Cup last week for his 23rd tour victory, regaining the world No. 1 ranking in the process. Now, the likes of Seamus Power, Garrick Higgo and Chad Ramey will be seeking a second tour win starting Thursday at Port Royal Golf Club. Lucas Herbert got his first tour triumph last year, winning the tournament in Southampton, Bermuda at 15 under par. The Australian shot 69 on Sunday to hold off Patrick Reed and Danny Lee by one stroke. Port Royal is one of the shortest courses on the PGA Tour at just 6,828 yards, but elevation changes and unpredictable weather on the oceanside course can make things interesting. The latest 2022 Bermuda Championship odds list Denny McCarthy as a 14-1 favorite, followed by Adrian Meronk (18-1) and Thomas Detry (18-1).
