[ad_1]

Day 1 and 2 of the 2023 NFL draft are behind us.

The Pittsburgh Steelers kicked off the second round by selecting cornerback Joey Porter Jr. (No. 32) almost a decade after drafting his father.

Tight ends made a big splash through the first two rounds with six total being selected, tied for most since 1974. This group includes Utah’s Dalton Kincaid (No. 25) to the Buffalo Bills and Iowa’s Sam LaPorta (No. 34) to the Detroit Lions.

The Big Ten continues to make history, having 20 players selected from the conference in the first two rounds. This is the most of any conference in this draft and the most in the common draft era.

The first night was highlighted by an unprecedented run on receivers. For the first time in the common draft era, four wide receivers were picked consecutively in Round 1.

The draft concludes tomorrow with Rounds 4-7 (12 p.m. ET on ESPN, ABC and the ESPN App). The Chicago Bears have the first pick in Round 4 (No.103).
