Tony Khan Discusses Potential AEW Signing of Kamille

As the President of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), Tony Khan boasts an impressive lineup of talent within his organization. Yet, the wrestling world is abuzz with speculation over potential new additions, particularly with the wealth of free agents currently on the market.
Among the most discussed is Kamille, the former NWA Women’s World Champion, who dominated the division with her championship reign from 2021 to 2023.
Kamille’s AEW Prospects
The speculation gained momentum during the AEW Revolution Media Call, where Khan was questioned about the possibility of integrating Kamille into AEW’s roster.
Kamille, who transitioned to free agency on January 1, 2024, after her contract with NWA concluded, has certainly caught Khan’s eye. He expressed his admiration for her talents, acknowledging her as a formidable free agent in the wrestling scene.
“Kamille is a great free agent in wrestling. Never say never,” Khan remarked, highlighting his respect for her and his appreciation of her performances both in and out of the ring. He added, “She would certainly be a great fit in AEW at any time and certainly somebody we would keep under consideration.” This openness to new talent is not out of character for Khan, who has made significant acquisitions in the past.
The women’s division has seen an influx of talent, with Mariah May, Deonna Purrazzo, and Queen Aminata joining the ranks of AEW. There’s also strong speculation around Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE, making a debut at the upcoming Big Business event in Boston.
On the men’s side, AEW has welcomed stars like Will Ospreay and Bryan Keith, and anticipations are high for the arrival of Kazuchika Okada, the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
