Jon Rahm aims to defend his title next week when the 2022 U.S. Open tees off June 16 at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass. The Spaniard went 6-under par last year at Torrey Pines to edge Louis Oosthuizen by one stroke. He was the No. 1 player in the world then but has since lost that distinction to Scottie Scheffler. The new No. 1 has four victories this season, including the Masters, and will be among the many elite players in the U.S. Open 2022 field. Among the numerous other notable names in the 2022 U.S. Open field are four-time major winner Rory McIlroy, PGA champion Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Jordan Spieth and Brooks Koepka.
