2023 British Open odds, picks, field, date: Surprising PGA predictions from model that nailed 9 majors

The fourth and final major of the year will be decided when the PGA Tour heads to Royal Liverpool for the 2023 Open Championship. The Open, which gets underway on Thursday, July 20, will feature a star-studded field with the likes of Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler and Jordan Spieth among the big names chasing the coveted Claret jug. This will be the 13th time that the Open Championship will be played at Royal Liverpool. 

Caesars Sportsbook lists Rahm as the 15-2 favorite, followed by Scheffler (9-1), McIlroy (9-1), Brooks Koepka (14-1), Spieth (18-1) and Viktor Hovland (18-1) in the latest 2023 Open Championship odds. Cameron Smith, the defending champion of this event, is going off at 20-1 to repeat.
