Double feat by Enrico Di Nitto: he won the Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by DEPOT – The Male Tools & Co with 136 (71 65, -8) shots and, with the second place in the order of merit, he obtained the ‘card’ to play next year on the Challenge Tour.

On the course of the Golf Club Monticello (par 72), in Cassina Rizzardi (Como), the tournament was reduced from 54 to 36 holes due to bad weather and with the players forced to take several suspensions.

The Italian success was completed by Jacopo Vecchi Fossa, second with 139 (71 68, -5) tied with the Frenchman Damien Perrier, and by the fifth position with 141 (-3) of Andrea Romano and Edoardo Giletta, who were joined by the Dutch Bob Geurts and Vince Van Veen, the Englishman Harry Goddard and the Frenchman Aymeric Laussot.

All preceded by the other Frenchman Paul Elissalde, fourth with 140 (-4). Good performances by the neopro Marco Florioli and Federico Livio, eleventh with 142 (-2), and just behind Edoardo Raffaele Lipparelli, 17th with 144 (par), Filippo Bergamaschi and Davide Buchi, 23rd with 145 (+1), together with the Frenchman Benjamin Kedochim, who maintained the leadership in the order of merit.

Di Nitto, 31-year-old from Rome, a professional since 2014, signed the third title on the circuit with a 65 (-7, nine birdies, two bogeys) in the final round, best partial of the round achieved in two phases, after the stop at the 12th hole the previous evening.

The other two successes in the Open Colli Berici (2015) and in the Nazionale Open (2019) with 20 top ten overall (seven times runner up). For his exploit he received a check for 10,000 euros out of a prize pool of 50,000 euros.

It was the fourth seasonal victory for Italian players on the Alps Tour after those of Lipparelli (New Giza Open), Gianmaria Rean Trinchero (Tunisian Golf Open) and Mattia Comotti (Memorial Giorgio Bordoni by AON), Italians who also won two titles on the DP World Tour with Matteo Manassero (Jonsson Workwear Open)…
