AEW MJF Distinguishes Himself from Will Ospreay in the Ring

In a tough fight that lasted almost an hour on the landmark 250th episode of “AEW Dynamite,” MJF defeated Will Ospreay to win the AEW International Championship. The win was hard-fought, culminating in MJF using the Dynamite Diamond Ring to seal his victory.

After such an intense match, MJF was so tired that he had to use an oxygen tank post-match for recovery. During an honest interview on “Casual Conversations with The Classic,” MJF talked about his strategy and how he saw his opponent.“He’s wrestling to impress, he’s not wrestling to win, and I’ll never wrestle like that ever again,” he said.

MJF talked about changing up his style to be more defensive minded; focusing on reversals and trying faster ways to win. “I don’t give a f–k, I’ll say that proudly with a smile on my face. I have that killer instinct, that’s something Will Ospreay lacks, and that’s why he lost against me, and I dominated him”.

MJF Dominant Streak

MJF’s words indicate a confidence after winning the match which suggests he feels like he has some kind of overall dominance over Ospreay. “People are saying it was the most dominant victory of all time,” MJF claimed.

“I didn’t even sweat, it was the easiest match probably in my entire life”. With the AEW International Championship now around his waist, MJF has a lot more pressure and eyes on him as he heads into “All In” on August 25th.

Beating Ospreay not only paints a target on his back from other challengers but also sets the stage for potential rematches. Will Ospreay will likely want revenge after feeling cheated out of a victory. Meanwhile Daniel Garcia wants payback after their confrontation at Beach Break and PAC who missed last year’s event looks for redemption with an International Championship shot at glory in Wembley.

This next phase of MJF’s career spells high-stakes confrontations and a test to his proclaimed strategy against some of the best in AEW. The wrestling world…
