Between them, however, it would seem AEW has a preferred moniker for Samoa Joe, "The Final Boss," with more gongs in their promotional efforts. The ShopAEW Twitter account hasn't lagged behind either, with a short message: "THE FINAL BOSS. Find the new @samoajoe tee now available at ShopAEW.com!" It would be only a way of showing his image with a snappy name, but also one that proved how the tough-guy persona in the ring he displayed showed he was the final boss in front of all those would-be challengers.

The Rock's 'Final Boss' Persona

The term "Final Boss," you have mentioned, is not just new to AEW wrestling. Recently, WWE superstar The Rock has adopted this name during his boisterous return to wrestling. On March 13, The Rock took to social media, hyping a television appearance with the label "Final Boss," a monjsoniker he's continued to use, highlighted by Cody Rhodes in a promo on the March 18 edition of WWE Raw.

That was relatively interesting in the tale of wrestling much more when considering that another AEW talent had reportedly hinted at the use of "Final Boss" before The Rock's revelation. This in-between of monikers will have the wrestling community in a bated breath, especially The Rock, as he gears up for that much-awaited match come WrestleMania 40 with Roman Reigns at his side against Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
