Roger Federer ended his career on Friday at the Laver Cup after 25 years on Tour. Federer decided to end his glorious tennis career after dealing with a knee injury for three seasons. Two legends suffered a 4-6 7-6 11-9 loss in two hours and 13 minutes after giving it their all and wasting that match point in the tie break of the match. Both teams served well until 4-4 in the first game, before Federer saved a break point in the ninth game.
He and Rafa broke Frances in game ten to claim the first game 6-4 in 42 minutes. The Americans broke Nadal on the third break chance in the second set, before the European team broke in the sixth game to close the result at 3-3.
Rafa had to go all out in the eleventh game after dealing with six break points.
