Roger Federer ended his career on Friday at the Laver Cup after 25 years on Tour. Federer decided to end his glorious tennis career after dealing with a knee injury for three seasons. Roger has undergone three surgeries since February 2020, playing only six tournaments in the previous three years and unable to compete without injury.

Federer will travel to Canada to see more exciting battles between Team Europe and Team World, although he has no intention of becoming captain of Team Europe. Roger and Rafa teamed up on the track for the last time and gave their best despite not being 100%.
Two legends suffered a 4-6 7-6 11-9 loss in two hours and 13 minutes after giving it their all and wasting that match point in the tie break of the match. Both teams served well until 4-4 in the first game, before Federer saved a break point in the ninth game.
He and Rafa broke Frances in game ten to claim the first game 6-4 in 42 minutes. The Americans broke Nadal on the third break chance in the second set, before the European team broke in the sixth game to close the result at 3-3.
Rafa had to go all out in the eleventh game after dealing with six break points.
