AEW reportedly planned major All In matches months before Wembley

AEW has spent months moving pieces around its roster, but the destination for several of its biggest All In matches appears to have changed very little.According to Fightful Select, much of the August 30 Wembley Stadium card was decided well before the matches reached television.

Kenny Omega against Will Ospreay was reportedly the planned main event as far back as February, while several other key matches also survived changes along the way.The strongest example is the AEW World Championship match.

Fightful Select reports that Omega versus Ospreay was always the plan for the All In main event.That is significant because MJF appeared to offer AEW another major option.

Rumors before Beach Break suggested there had been an internal push to add him to the Wembley main event.
