MVP Criticizes AEW for ‘Bad Business’ Practices

The previous week, MVP could be seen on “AEW Dynamite,” where he had a particular segment with Prince Nana. Nana updated Swerve Strickland’s recovery after his brutal Apocalypse Steel Cage match with “Hangman” Adam Page of AEW All Out.
In this segment, MVP was very angry with Nana because she was pointedly attributing the losses to Swerve at Koshu, who is an active champion in the AEW, which unfavorably included him losing the AEW World Title to Bryan Danielson within moments of the All-In and losing to Paige and having his house burned out over just three weeks.
There have since been reports that MVP would act as Strickland’s manager instead when he comes back to the ring.
MVP Criticizes Nana
The simmering tension between MVP and Nana over the weekend reached new heights when Nana took to social media to promote his coffee shop for National Coffee Day.
MVP described how inappropriate Nana’s priorities were, this time focusing on why such things are not on Strickland’s mind. “But the man who set Swerve’s house ablaze and evicted him from the house is still going scot-free,” MPV posted on X.
”Swerve deserves better. This is BAD business…” There is speculation that MVP may not be the last former member of Hurt Business to AEW. Reports have emerged that Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin have expressed interest in signing with AEW and have even held talks with the promotion.
MVP was involved in a promo during which he suggested that, even though nothing has been officially announced, the duo are possible signings for AEW. After the coveted Hurt Business ceased to be a thing in WWE, MVP became the manager of Omos, who had not been a regular on WWE programming in 2024.
Many recently came out against MVP, who appeared to have resigned from WWE promotion for some time at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XI match, where he challenged Barnett to fight him at Bloodsport XII this November. This would be the first time MVP competes in a wrestling ring since 2022…
