The PGA Tour stays in Florida and makes its annual stop at Bay Hill Golf Course for the 2022 Arnold Palmer Invitational. The tournament tees off on Thursday, March 3 and features a star-studded field. World No. 1 Jon Rahm is the betting favorite at 17-2 in the latest Arnold Palmer Invitational odds from Caesars Sportsbook. He is followed closely by Rory McIlroy (12-1), Scottie Scheffler (16-1), Viktor Hovland (16-1), and Hideki Matsuyama (25-1). With a field this talented, there will be several intriguing head-to-head matchups this week at Bay Hill.
Head-to-head golf betting is growing in popularity and allows fans to bet on single round or full tournament golfer vs. golfer matchups. Before locking in your own 2022 Arnold Palmer Invitational head-to-head bets, be sure to check out the golf predictions and betting advice from SportsLine DFS pro and PGA expert, Mike McClure.
SportsLine’s proprietary model, built by McClure, has been red-hot since the PGA Tour resumed play in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up over $9,000 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.
At the 2021 Open Championship, McClure’s best bets included Collin Morikawa winning outright even though he was listed as a massive 40-1 long shot. In addition, McClure’s model was all over Jon Rahm’s (10-1) first career major championship victory at the 2021 U.S. Open. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the weekend, but the model still projected him as the winner.
At the Sony Open in 2022, McClure’s model listed Hideki Matsuyama among the top contenders. The reigning Masters champion went out and overcame a five-stroke deficit on the back nine of the final round to notch his eighth career PGA Tour victory.
This same model has also nailed a whopping seven majors entering the weekend. Anyone who has followed it has seen massive returns.
Now, McClure has dialed in on the 2022…
