Jordynne Grace to Defend Knockouts Title on WWE NXT

Beginning next week, for the remainder of September, LittleNXT, WWE’s premier developmental program, alongside the other two flagship shows ‘WWE Raw’ and ‘WWE SmackDown,’ will be shown only on the USA Network.

The network has officially entitled this period as WWE Week. To mark this occasion, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace revealed an exciting opportunity scheduled for the September 10 episode of NXT. “Next week is a big week for wrestling,” Grace said in a video posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“It’s WWE Week on the USA Network, where NXT, Raw, and Smackdown will all broadcast on the Network. But I have something that’s going to make it even better. I have something that’s going to turn it into a historic week”.

Grace further teased, “I spoke to [NXT General Manager] Ava, and it’s official; I am going to be defending my TNA Knockouts Championship on NXT for the very first time in an open challenge match where any wrestler can answer the call.

I want to keep pushing myself against the best. If there is a woman out there who thinks she can take my place, I would happily welcome her. Later WWE Universe”. She concluded the announcement by saying, “Let’s make history!

There’s a a post through social media in which Grace also states, “See you soon, @WWENXT.

As for the cooperation between WWE and TNA wrestling, Grace already managed to surprise fans with how NXT-Emergency Debuted prior to the NXT Battleground. There, she made her challenge to hold the NXT women’s title against Roxanne Perez, but to the shock of many, that did not happen much at the premium live event. Nevertheless, Grace defeated Stevie Turner on the last “NXT” for her mother.
