ATP Tour sees 22 champions in 24 tournaments!

The ATP season has been off to a cracking start! Twenty-two players have won the opening 24 tournaments, wrapping up the first four months of the season with mind-blowing equality. The ATP Tour was formed in 1990, and this is only the second season with 22 winners of the first 24 tournaments. 

It also happened not so long ago, in 2019. Felix Auger-Aliassime and Carlos Alcaraz are the only players with two ATP titles in 2025 ahead of May, which illustrates how tight the battle for the trophies is. We have seen six first-time champions this season, from Joao Fonseca to Alexandre Muller.

Alexandre Muller and Jiri Lehecka kicked off the season with titles in Hong Kong and Brisbane. Felix Auger-Aliassime and Gael Monfils joined the list in the second week, with the Frenchman becoming the oldest ATP champion since the beginning of the ATP Tour.

Jannik Sinner defended his Australian Open crown, adding the third Major to his CV at 23. Felix Auger-Aliassime conquered Montpellier and became the first two-time winner in 2025. Denis Shapovalov and Carlos Alcaraz stepped onto the scene in Dallas and Rotterdam. 

Miomir Kecmanovic, Ugo Humbert and Joao Fonseca stole the show a week later, with the 18-year-old Brazilian becoming one of the youngest champions since 1990. Andrey Rublev and Sebastian Baez clinched the ATP 500 titles in Doha and Rio de Janeiro.

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Tomas Machac followed them in Dubai and Acapulco. March was reserved for the ‘Sunshine Double.’ Jack Draper and Jakub Mensik conquered Indian Wells and Miami, adding the first notable titles to their tallies.
