Julian Nagelsmann has revealed he gives his wife restless nights – by shouting out the names of his Bayern Munich players in his sleep.
The Bayern coach apparently finds it so hard to switch off from the day job that he often wakes wife Verena because he’s still analysing his team’s performances.
Nagelsmann, 34, told Bayern’s ’51’ Magazine, via Bild: ‘Sometimes when I’m sleeping after a game I call out the names of my players.

‘My wife once told me that. Sometimes it wakes her up in the night.’
That’s if Nagelsmann goes to bed at all. He often stays up late into the night after matches as it takes a long time to wind down from the stresses and strains of the 90 minutes.
The former Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig manager married his childhood sweetheart Verena, 35, back in 2018. They have two children together.
