Becky Lynch speaks about Seth Rollins’ fake injury

The Irish star has built a wonderful family with 'The Visionary' and their partnership has had a positive impact on both of their careers, helping them remain competitive despite the rapid rise of numerous young stars.
‘The Man’ has made history in the women’s division and continues to be a role model in the locker room, possessing an innate ability to connect with the crowd and offering his experience to emerging athletes.
Interviewed by Stephanie McMahon during the latest episode of her popular podcast, Becky recalled one of the most controversial moments of her husband’s career.
She was referring to 2025, when Rollins faked a serious knee injury sustained during his match against LA Knight. ‘The Visionary’ did everything he could to show the world that the injury was serious and even had to lie to his family to make the story more believable.
"That thing, that injury became so controversial where, literally, like that's what we do all the time. We do that all the time, [and] they got, got. They were like, 'Yeah, you can't lie about that stuff.' Wait a minute, what? Anybody gets injured, taken out, put through a table, is dragged off in a stretcher. If it's not a real stretcher, that's what we're doing," Lynch explained.
Stephanie explained her point of view on this topic: "They haven't like been out in public and not broken character in a long time. But Paul Levesque, you know, has had to do that so many times. I remember him going through, like we'd go to events and stuff, and he'd have his arm in a sling or whatever 'cause he was, you know, living the gimmick. But that has stopped for so long until Rollins did it, and it was so perfect. The way he did it. The way you all did it. I mean, it was really, it was so well done."
