Drake places huge bet on Taylor Fritz to upset Jannik Sinner in US

Drake has added tennis to the list of sports he has bet on as the Canadian rapper dropped $210k on Taylor Fritz to upset Jannik Sinner in the US Open final.
Over the last couple of years, the 37-year-old has become well-known for his habit of placing huge bets on the biggest and most popular matches. However, he doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to correctly predicting winners. And that’s one of the reasons why some believe that “the Drake curse” is a real thing.
But that hasn’t stopped Drizzy from continuing to place bets – and for this weekend – he chose the final at Flushing Meadows as the match where he would like to make some money. If the American tennis star wins, the payout will be $808k – which means the Canadian rapper would profit around $600k.
“Continuing my record as the most daring sports better in history with the most losses (laughing emoji) going underdog @stake,” Drake captioned his Instagram Story.

Fritz is confident that he can make Drake’s bet hit
Today, the 26-year-old will be making his maiden Grand Slam final appearance at the US Open. For the No. 12 seed – who defeated fellow American Frances Tiafoe in the semifinal – it will be a dream come true.
“It still hasn’t fully sunk in, I feel like it. When the crowd cheered me and I was introduced as the finalist of the tournament, I felt incredibly emotional because this is the fulfillment of a dream.
