Ricky Starks Speaks About Getting Beaten by Roman Reigns

Ricky Starks is a famous AEW Superstar and current FTW Champion, and he spoke about being beaten up by Roman Reigns when he worked for the WWE.

He spoke about it on the Brandon Walker of Barstool Rasslin’.

Ricky Starks Shares Being Badly Beaten by Roman Reigns During a Segement

Starks was part of the WWE in 2018 and appear on WWE TV as an extra.

He also appeared as an enhancement talent. During one segment, Starks appeared as a US Marshal. He was sent to arrest Roman Reigns, but he was attacked by Reigns. Starks noted that he was badly beaten by Roman Reigns during that segment.

Roman actually had to apologize to Starks after the segment. “When I showed up to work that day, they said, ‘you’re gonna be, you know, they said you’re gonna be a cop, then they said you’re gonna be a sheriff, it’s, they called it something else,” Starks recalled.

“So I went there, showed up, talked to Roman (Reigns). Everything was cool, he had to put these cuffs on and they were really tight and he goes, ‘hey man, I can’t do anything when I got my hands cuffed, so sorry ahead of time’.

“And man, I went to grab him (imitates how he grabbed Reigns) like that to come out of the ring, and he woah (imitates how Reigns hit him very hard), and I said, ‘oh okay’. Get in the corner, and he starts stomping the s— out of him.

But he was a really great guy, because afterwards, he apologized”. Starks has not wrestled as much as he did last year as he injured his neck badly several month ago. He actually broke his neck in May that kept him away from the ring for several months.

“I haven’t had torn ligaments,” Starks said. “The only injury I ever had in my entire career was that neck injury”. Starks revealed that he was a huge wrestling fan. His favorite wrestler was The Undertaker.

He mentioned that he had the opportunity to train alongside the Undertaker. “Growing up, I, in this order, I liked Undertaker, Mankind, and The Rock,” Ricky Starks said. ”…
