Derek Chisora sported a mask of Boris Johnson’s face while weighing in ahead of this weekend’s eagerly-anticipated bout against Kubrat Pulev at the O2 Arena. 

The heavyweight, 38, at Thursday’s press conference admitted he was saddened by the news that Johnson is to step down from his position as Prime Minister, insisting he’s a fan of both the politician and of Brexit. 

And ‘Del Boy’ was back at it on Friday afternoon, as he once again stated, ‘I think Boris Johnson should stay in No 10’, though quickly bursting into a laugh and insisting he was joking.

Chisora weighed in at 258.2lbs for the fight

Pulev came in lighter than Chisora at 250lbs

Chisora came in the heavier of the two at 258.2lbs, while Pulev was lighter at 250lbs on the dot

It’s not the first time Chisora has made a rather unique statement at a weigh-in, having covered himself in white paint with ‘WAR’ written across his chest the day before his 2020 clash with Oleksandr Usyk, while also wearing a sinister ‘Joker’ smile.
