WWE Plans First International WrestleMania in Major European City

Las Vegas is set to accommodate World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) most awaited show, WrestleMania, for the second time in 2025. However, WWE views London, England as a place of strategic significance beyond American borders.
London Government’s press release has recently revealed concerning talks between London Mayor Sadiq Khan and foremost WWE managers such as the president Nick Khan and chief content officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
The three had scheduled a meeting to consider the possibility of bringing this wrestling spectacle to a famous British city. For instance, this recent conference indicates that Mayor Khan is doing all he can to ensure that more events like NBA games are held in London.
London WrestleMania Ambitions
On his part, Mayor Khan said: “London already hosts some of the biggest international sports events, and I am committed to making our city the world’s number one sporting capital where we deliver for every Londoner.” “It feels great to talk with the WWE team; we have had good conversations and are willing to continue towards making it happen,” opines the mayor.
Paul Levesque hailed at length on how WWE has had a long-standing relationship with London ever since 1992 when SummerSlam was staged at Wembley Stadium. Nonetheless, even if they shared such moments in history together, WWE has never taken its highest-grossing event called WrestleMania outside North America – something John Cena who is now a sixteen-time world champion would like to change by pushing for hosting rights in London.
Enthusiastically speaking about their recent dialogue session was WWE President Nick Khan. “Mayor Khan and his group are aggressively positioning London as one of Europe’s key sports and entertainment hubs as well”, added Nick Khan.
He explained that he enjoyed listening more about the visionaries’ plans and talking about how WWE could assist them along this ambitious journey.
