Disgusting to body shame ‘Queen S’

Romanian tennis player Andreea Prisacariu wasn’t impressed by some of the comments she saw about Serena Williams following the American’s Cincinnati exit. On Tuesday, Williams exited Cincinnati following a 6-4 6-0 loss to Emma Raducanu.

Prisacariu seemingly noticed some of the comments that were made on Twitter following Williams’ Cincinnati first round performance. Prisacariu called Williams “the Queen and definition of tennis” and added it is “disgusting” to body shame her.

“I’ve read some bad bad bad insulting stuff against Queen S and I must admit I am completely disgusted. Some people still have issues trying to understand that this woman is the definition of tennis. Calling her names, body shaming her and all that.

Serena Williams is the Legend,” Prisacariu tweeted.

The best in the world,” Prisacariu wrote in another tweet.

Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam champion, is retiring after this year’s US Open.

Last week in Toronto, Williams announced Toronto, Cincinnati and the US Open would be the three final tournaments of her career. Now, there is only one tournament left on Williams’ schedule. In the Cincinnati first round, Williams clashed 2021 US Open champion Raducanu.
