Matt Cardona Demands Deportation of Former WWE Star

The professional wrestler Matt Cardona has kicked up some heat on Twitter recently for suggesting that former WWE grapple Elias (real name: Elijah) should be deported. On social media, the volatile wrestler took aim at a recent event in an angry rant.
But you know Cardona is one to talk, and he didn’t hold back on X/Twitter. He expressed anger at being hit by Elijah with a guitar during an exhibition match of World Wrestling Series (WSW). “[Elijah] should be deported for attacking an injured man (ME!) from behind with a guitar!

Elijah’s WWE Journey
An experienced wrestler, Elijah signed with WWE in 2014 and began as part of NXT the company’s developmental brand.
He came up to the main roster in 2017, and he would soon be taken very seriously winning the 24/7 Championship four times. But his WWE run ended on July 21, 2023 when he was released among several other big names. In the time since, Elijah has retkurned to the indie circuit where he continues staking his claim.
If you thought WWE was looking more appealing to the couple, think again based on comments made by Cardona’s wife Chelsea Green not long ago. Green spoke about this during INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet and said that she hopes Cardona finds his way back to WWE one day.
“Just waiting out there,” Green said. I do not want to be teamed up with him in WWE, but that would be cool. We could use it to create an insane mixed match, tag team division – whatever. But I could be wrong — deep down, that is me listening to my heart speak and it says… eventually.
