AEW censors attack on Bryan Danielson after WrestleDream

[ad_1]

The lights have been off for a few hours at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington, and on AEW WrestleDream. The event delivered a very important verdict in its finale, which saw wrestling legend Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley compete for the AEW World Championship. The match, as you already know, was won by Jon Moxley but the worst happened after that title went out of hand: the chaos and brutality of the new Blackpool Combat Club devastated the American Dragon.

It seems strange to say, but the AEW has chosen not to disclose video segments of what happened in the post match between Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson for its brutality. The All Elite has never been afraid to display violent graphic content, but this time it is. Let’s recap briefly what happened: the referee called the end of the match when Bryan Danielson passed out at Mox’s Bulldog Choke. After the proclamation joined with Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli and Pac to surround the ring on which still lay the American Dragon unconscious.

From backstage came the reinforcements represented first by security, then by Darby Allin and Wheeler Yuta. Here’s the twist of the context: after making us believe that he was loyal to Danielson Wheeler Yuta hit Darby Allin and sided with his old cronies and knocked out Allin (fresh from a match anything but relaxing against Brody King),

From there the chaos: Swiss star Castagnoli put a chair around Danielson’s already compromised neck and hit her with a Curb Stomp. Several members of the AEW tried to rescue, including Jeff Jarrett who was quickly overpowered and knocked out. The rescuers have intervened to provide relief to Bryan Danielson who, if he will keep what was said shortly before WrestleDream, made his last appearance as a full timer.
