Baron Corbin Reflects on WWE Exit

This decision came among three wrestlers freed last Friday, including longtime WWE star Baron Corbin. The Crown Jewel event is coming up this weekend in Saudi Arabia. In addition to Corbin, other wrestlers the company relieved, Indi Hartwell and Tegan Nox, were informed that their deals would not be renewed. But he has remained vocal on social media as he thanked the fans for their overwhelming support.

In a post on X, formerly called Twitter, Baron thanked his fans. “Just want to let everybody know I see all the messages and tweets,” he penned. “Appreciate it way more than you know. It [definitely] helps!” The gesture moved those fans who’d followed him from “The Lone Wolf” days to “King Corbin, the villain.”

Corbin Bids Farewell

Immediately after his release, Baron took to social media with eloquent but simple thoughts. He tweeted, “That’s all she wrote, folks,” followed by the peace sign emoji. “It’s been real, and I appreciate everyone who supported me,” he furthered. His words came with a nostalgic GIF of himself walking to the ring, reminiscing on his early years in WWE.

In another post, he shared a tweet by the wrestling news account, which remembered his unforgettable “Bum Ass Corbin” character. The post featured a photo of Corbin with a frown on his face while holding onto the Money in the Bank briefcase. The post instantly blew up through socials across wrestling fandom, reminding those familiar with Baron colourful and, at times, polarizing character arcs over the years.
