Deonna Purrazzo on facing Mickie James on the latter’s legacy road

Legend Mickie James is currently engaged in what she calls her “Last Rodeo,” which is her last run in an attempt to finish her career in a big way by becoming the Knockouts champion again, in IMPACT Wrestling.

In fact, the wrestler has decided to go on as long as she can, so if she wins a match against a colleague she advances to the next one up to the title, but if by chance she were to lose even once she would hang up her boots.

She is currently very close to the belt as she will face champion Jordynne Grace in a Title vs Career match on January 13th. But there is someone who aims to make her retire and while Jordynne Grace could be the one to succeed in the enterprise, Deonna Purrazzo has stepped forward fearlessly for the rest of the Knockouts locker room as well.

A moment that could change it all for Mickie James

Speaking on Counted Out with Mike & Tyler, Deonna was asked to comment on what it might mean for someone to defeat James and consequently end their in-ring career: “I think that would be the icing on a career cake.

You know, Tasha Steelz says, ‘I’m the greatest to beat the greatest, right?’ She beat Mickie James to win the Knockouts World Championship, but I think it was a major change for Tasha, he sort of shaped her a little bit.

The person who has the opportunity to say, ‘I made Mickie James retire’… I mean, what’s greater to do than that other than winning the Knockouts World Championship, which after Hard To Kill could one have l opportunity to do? But are you going to withdraw it? That in itself is an incredible feat.

So I think it has stimulated our entire division to work harder and move up the level”. The former Knockouts champion then went on to praise the great work that Mickie James does in the ring, talking about the fact that she has always managed to teach something different to all the women who have entered the ring with her at IMPACT. “Like I said, having it pulled would be a game-changer for me”.
