Bloodline Overpowers Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens on SmackDown

Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens fell victim to relentless brutality from The Bloodline on WWE SmackDown but experienced a brief moment of glory. Rhodes and Owens scored a win over former WWE Tag Team champs A-Town Down Under and flew high in triumph for just one moment.

However, their joy was short-lived as they fell victim to a brutal attack from The Bloodline in the latest chapter of their rule. Rhodes & Owens got things off to a promising start by teaming up to confront and dispose of A-Town Down Under alike later that night.

Redeem your victory: Attached earlier in the night to flip A-Town by exonerating Rhodes tainted; The Bloodline had wounded Randy Orton. But their own glory was fleeting. Seconds after their win, chaos ensued in the arena at the hands of The Bloodline.

Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens Ambushed

Rhodes had not one but two showdowns, crashing over the top rope to take out both Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga of The Bloodline. Elsewhere, Owens squared off with Tanga Loa before flexing his muscles by knocking him down and regrouping with Rhodes, where he was met face-to-face against Sikoa again.

However, the tide changed instantly following a capture that saw Jacob Fatu tripped by Owens and kicking him squarely on his face with what was termed a broken windpipe while Sikoa & Tonga overpowered Rhodes. The evening culminated when Sikoa and his kin hoisted Rhodes on their shoulders, launching a heartless crash through the announce table- the type of hostile gesture that resonates from past exchanges.

Owens, hurt as he was physically, tried to stand against this atrocity, but The Bloodline is storming the ring, and Owens gets beat down with a chair before being sent into the ring post. Try as he likes, Kevin’s attempts go in vain, facing off orchestrated violence from The Bloodline.
