In the history of WWE, the greatest Canadian legends in the entire history of North American pro-wrestling have played in the rings of the McMahon-owned company, from Bret Hart to his brother Owen, through Chris Jericho, Edge and Christian.

One of those who made the most recent history of the company is undoubtedly the Rated R Superstar Edge, who returned to the action in the ring of the McMahon family in the 2020 edition of the Royal Rumble, when after almost 10 years of forced retirement, for a very delicate problem in the neck, the Canadian managed to get the pass from the medical staff of the company, to get back to fighting.

In his last interview, Edge wanted to talk about retirement, this time the definitive one, chosen by him, saying that he has not yet seen himself in the ring for many years. To the microphones of Steven’s Wrestling Journey, Edge said: “It won’t be ten (years), definitely not ten.

I doubt it will even be five, it will certainly be less than that. I don’t think it will even be three. I don’t know, but I don’t think it will last that long. I know the window is small.” Tommaso Ciampa is the NXT name suggested.
