Does WWE want separate Tag Team titles?

[ad_1]

In recent weeks, Pro Wrestling Illustrated has finally revealed who was in first place in its 2022 PWI Tag Team 100 and it could only be them, the Undisputed Tag Team Champions, the Bloodline twins, Jimmy and Jey Uso, or the Usos.

The judging period to select all athletes runs from October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022 and pairs are judged on: win-loss record, technical ability, influence in sport, success against top echelons of competition, success against as many different opponents and activity.

During the judging period, The Usos became the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, winning the WWE Raw Tag Team Titles, while remaining the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions. They battled RK-Bro (Matt Riddle & Randy Orton), The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins), The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) and more as they continued to be part of the Bloodline alongside Roman Reigns.

Currently, the Usos had been without opponents for some time, so WWE decided to call a match valid for the n°1 contender for the tag titles on Monday Night Raw, with the winners being the two from Judgment Day, in the Tag Team Turmoil match on the latest episode of Raw.

To give further emphasis to the matter, Kevin Patrick also thought about it during the evening, who repeatedly underlined how Judgment Day has become No.

1 contender for the only tag team titles of the red show. On the Smackdown side, however, the Banger Bos will have to contend against the Viking Raiders, to pull the new No. 1 contenders for the Friday Night Smackdown titles out of contention, a sign…
