Dutch Mantell opens up on Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman were the great protagonists of the episode of SmackDown which took place last Friday. The ‘Tribal Chief’ said he didn’t care who won the Battle Royal, since he was ready to destroy anyone who dared to challenge him.
Later in the evening, Sami Zayn managed to clinch victory in the Battle Royal and secured the role of first challenger to Reigns for the Universal title. The celebration of him nevertheless had a very short duration. In fact, Kayla Braxton showed up in the ring to announce that WWE had lifted the suspension that had been imposed on Brock Lesnar a few weeks ago.
The Beast will take part in the next edition of the blue show. The cameras went looking for a visibly annoyed Roman backstage. Speaking in the latest episode of ‘Smack Talk’ on Sportskeeda, former WWE manager Dutch Mantell highlighted that – at the moment – there are only two superstars on par with Roman Reigns.

“The first athlete that comes to mind is Jeff Hardy, who is having perhaps the best moment of his entire career. After having had countless problems over the past few years, he seems to be back in great shape.
He is very clear that he is much more mature both in and out of the ring. The other superstar who could face Roman Reigns on equal terms is Drew McIntyre. His name had gone slightly into the background, but now it’s back in vogue” – Dutch Mantell analyzed.
Paul Heyman recently praised the rise of the ‘Tribal Chief’: “The Survivor Series has once again shown us the huge gap between Roman and all of his opponents. He has reached a level that has never been touched in the history of this business.
Very few believed that – after stopping for a while in 2020 – he would be back even stronger and more ambitious than before. Performing in front of an audience motivates him more than anything else in the world. The sky is really the only limit for Reigns.”
