Ramsey, 30, joined the Old Lady on a free transfer in 2019 after a decade at the Emirates but he’s endured an injury-ravaged period in Turin.
The Wales international has made 70 appearances for Juventus during his three seasons at the club but he’s suggested that the club are partially to blame for his injury record and has gone on record with praise for the way he’s managed when on international duty with Wales.
Ramsey signed for Juventus before the pandemic and was given wages of around £400,000-a-week as he signed on a free transfer from the Gunners.
While Newcastle could now afford his salary, Ramsey’s stock has plummetted and he would need to take a significant pay decrease to move to the north-east.
Ramsey, for his part, is keen on a return to England after making just five appearances for Juventus this season.
Everton are also mentioned as a possible destination but Newcastle would offer Ramsey higher wages.
