‘Hey there, this is Ryan Reynolds. I just wanted to send all my best wishes to the entire Welsh football club [sic] on their way to Qatar to compete in the World Cup,’ the Canadian-American actor told fans from his car.
‘I’m actually sitting here right now with my best friend and my copilot of Wrexham FC, Mr. Rob McIlhenny.’
‘Hey how’s it going,’ said McIlhenny, known for his role as Ronald ‘Mac’ McDonald on the American comedy series, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. ‘I just wanted to say good luck. Not too much luck. I mean, maybe a draw. A draw would be nice, play your hearts out…’
