NFL training camps are underway, which means fantasy football draft season is about to ramp up. An ESPN fantasy team of analysts and editors took part in a recent mock draft, a 10-team superflex league with half-PPR scoring.
As is always the case in superflex play, quarterbacks went early, with five selected in the first round. While Eric Karabell and Liz Loza took signal-callers with their first two picks, Mike Clay waited the longest to take one, selecting non-QBs with each of his first six selections.
This draft featured the following participants (in order of first-round selection): Karabell, Loza, Matt Bowen, Joe Klingele, Daniel Dopp, Jim McCormick, Clay, Joe Kaiser, Keith Lipscomb and Pierre Becquey.
