Latest news on Randy Orton’s WWE return

[ad_1]

Randy Orton is recovering from injury, and his return is not that far away. After a long career in this business – where he has won many titles and participated in numerous iconic matches – the body is showing some signs of decline to The Viper and his future is quite uncertain.

A serious back injury seemed to have almost ended his career a few years ago, but the former world champion has worked hard and given himself the chance to end his WWE journey on his own terms.

In recent years, the ‘Legend Killer’ has had to settle for a secondary role due to his age and has suffered many defeats in the most prestigious events. Randy has not won a single match in PLE in 2024, a figure that certifies his decline and the rise of young talent.

Latest update on The Viper

Fans and insiders are persistently wondering about the moment when Orton will return to action. According to reports from ‘WrestleVotes’, it cannot be ruled out that the former world champion could intervene during the match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens scheduled for the Royal Rumble.

“I don’t know if both, but I would certainly say with the way the injury angle went down, he has to come back for Kevin Owens. He can’t just enter the Rumble as a surprise and forget about everything. So I’d say if he’s in Indianapolis for the pay-per-view, likely look for him during that Ladder match.”

It is very likely that – after his retirement – Randy will immediately start a feud with KO, which resulted in his injury in the latter part of last year.

The Canadian champion will also be featured in Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend, where he will sign a contract with Cody ahead of the first PLE of 2025.

Everyone’s hope is that Triple H will enhance his great friend Orton in this last part of his career and give him an ending worthy of his name.
