NXT Star Makes Comeback at Live Event

The WWE “NXT” roster continues to develop young wrestlers which will bring forth the future stars of this sport. Among the many developing names, the women’s division has marked this year with huge signings like Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. But one of the division’s top stars, Gigi Dolin, has been on the sidelines since March after undergoing major knee surgery. To the delight of the fans, Dolin finally returned to action inside the squared circle.

As per F4Wonline, Dolin was part of the “NXT” live event in Lakeland, Florida last Friday. She brought down Cora Jade who also returned from a long injury layoff to the mat and won the match. Initially, there were fears that Dolin’s injury was a torn ACL and she wouldn’t be back until late 2024. But later on, the doctors assured Dolin’s knee injury wasn’t too serious and the rehabilitation period will be less than expected.

New Chapter Begins for Gigi Dolin

Dolin’s comeback marks a new beginning for her career. The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion had a fierce rivalry with Arianna Grace prior her injury. Sadly, the plotline was cut abruptly because Dolin suffered an injury. Besides, she has not wrestled since losing to Karmen Petrovic in July. Rather, she has been participating in cross promotion appearances with her father Santino Marella in TNA.

It is interesting to hear how Dolin is brought back to the “NXT” roster in the near future. Her comeback adds new strength to the division which keeps on showing its depth and strength. Although she has yet to finish the rivalry with Grace, the fact that Dolin has healed and been ready to return to in-ring action means she is ready for new challenges.
