Giants’ Daniel Jones provides positive update on neck injury that derailed his 2021 campaign

The New York Giants are starting a new chapter in 2022, with a new general manager in Joe Schoen and a new head coach in Brian Daboll. The Giants will start the same quarterback in Daniel Jones, but he will have to prove to this new regime that he’s the man they want under center for the future.
Jones had his 2021 season derailed by a neck injury suffered against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12. The Giants were initially hopeful about his status moving forward, but he did not suit up again for the rest of the season. On Monday, Jones was asked about his neck injury being a concern moving forward. His response made it seem as though he’s already very much past it.
“Yeah, I’ll be cleared and ready to go,” Jones said, via ESPN.
