It was in a tweet that the 51-year-old Dane Thomas Bjørn expressed his extreme anger accusing someone of having changed the parameters of his driver without him realizing it the day before the first round of the championship.

Thomas Bjørn, statements
“To whoever changed my driver settings overnight in the bag room: May you wake up every morning for the rest of your life with bleeding piles.
#lowlife”. posted the Dane after scoring 75. Bjørn is nine shots behind the Aphibarnrat, Van Driel, Wu trio who scored 63 on Thursday. Rejected beyond 100th place, the great Dane received the support of several Internet users but no longer seems able to put an end to nearly 8 years of scarcity on the DP World Tour.
His last success dates back to December 2013 when he won in South Africa in the Nedbank Golf Challenge with Gary Player. Last year Bjørn triumphed in Ireland on the Legends Tour, the circuit reserved for over 50s. Thomas Bjørn (born February 18, 1971 in Silkeborg) is a professional golfer from Denmark who has played on the European PGA European Tour since 1996.
Bjørn, nicknamed “Major Tom” by his peers, has fifteen victories on the Tour so far, having previously won four tournaments on the second-tier Challenge Tour. His best year to date was 2000, when he placed 5th on the European Tour Order of Merit money list.
In 2003 he gambled away what seemed a certainty at what was probably the most important tournament, the Open Championship, with a series of unsuccessful bunker shots and in the end had to settle for second place. In the prestigious Ryder Cup, Thomas Bjørn played for the victorious European team in 1997, 2002 and 2014, accompanied them as vice-captain in the victories in 2004 and 2012, and in 2018 he was captain of the victorious European team. In 2001 he was voted Denmark’s sportsman of the year.
