CM Punk is ready to win the world title again


CM Punk is all set to return to the top of WWE in 2025. The champion from Chicago has been shining in recent months and does not want to settle for a secondary role, having set his sights on a very prestigious title. After ending his beautiful feud with Drew McIntyre at ‘WWE Bad Blood’, the former AEW star participated in the latest edition of Survivor Series by helping Roman Reigns’ Original Bloodline in the clash with the New Bloodline.

According to the latest rumors, the former World Champion is expected to be Seth Rollins’ opponent in the first episode of the Monday Night Raw story on Netflix (which will take place on January 6, 2025). A while ago, rumors circulated that Punk would face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series 2024, but this plan never came to fruition.

However, it is not excluded that that match could take place during the live event organized by WWE on December 29, in which fans could see Punk compete for the world title in Chicago. Chris Featherstone was very clear on this subject: “The match between he and Gunther in late December could be the anticipation of a feud, but we will have to wait to see what happens to him after the debut of Raw on Netflix.” For the moment, the Stamford’s company has not yet advertised the presence of CM Punk for the show that will take place in Chicago at the end of December.
