Seth Rollins opens up on his character


Seth Rollins went from being the Monday Night Messiah, to the Drip God, showing off various very special outfits thanks to the designer King Troi, who also dresses his wife Becky Lynch and SmackDown champion Charlotte Flair.

Speaking with Josh Martinez on Z100, Rollins delved a little bit into his new character: “Honestly, it was about doing something different and doing something fun. It all started when we were in the middle of the pandemic and were doing shows with no audience and doing stuff in the Thunderdome.

Much of the content that I saw on TV and in practice in wrestling and entertainment was very obscure and it felt tiring to watch and experience because it wasn’t much fun. Thinking back to the characters of my youth and guys like Ric Flair, Randy Savage, Gorgeous George, guys like those who strut all the time.

I wanted to find my version and make it fun to hate someone. I thought it would be completely different from what I’ve always done and here we are.”
