I was wrong to have a negative opinion about DeChambeau

Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau will have a lot of responsibility. Namely, this duo will represent LIV Golf in The Crypto.com showdown in Las Vegas. The two biggest stars of LIV Golf will play against the two most prominent stars of the PGA Tour, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy. In an interview with the media, Koepka reflected on the past, admitting that people mature with age. He has enormous respect for DeChambeau.

“Look, we all get older, we all mature a little bit, and then you realize, hey, Bryson’s a good dude,” said Koepka, as quoted by Golf Monthly.

The 34-year-old admits he made a mistake and misjudged his colleague. Koepka has a high opinion of him now. DeChambeau, one of LIV Golf’s key players, is a golfer that the Tour’s leaders have high hopes for. Koepka believes that the world is now seeing the true version of this golfer, admitting that he made a mistake in evaluating Bryson.

“I think he’s severely misunderstood and I think the world is actually starting to really see who Bryson DeChambeau is, which is cool. I’m the first person to admit it, I was wrong with what my original thoughts were.”- he said.

After joining LIV Golf, they didn’t produce positive reactions. Fans of this sport reacted furiously through social media, angry at the decisions of these two golfers. Koepka revealed that coming to LIV Golf allowed them to communicate much more and get to know each other better.
