Chelsea Green recalling her experience on WWE

Through her 2015 performance in WWE Tough Enough Chelsea Green started her path to success as a wrestler. The program added Chelsea Green to become part of the cast in episode five because Dianna Dahlgren had dropped out before.

When she joined the show she proved her determination and love for wrestling through her fast start. During her show time she impressed audience and judges with her promo skills. The show ended her run in episode six when producers eliminated her from competition and placed her fourth among all female wrestlers.

Post-Tough Enough Career Trajectory

No WWE contract appeared after her Tough Enough run ended. Despite defeat she pursued independent wrestling to improve and make connections. Her hard work gained results when she signed with Impact Wrestling as Laurel Van Ness. During her time at Impact Green became their Knockouts Champion.

WWE signed Green to a contract in 2018 because of her remarkable progress as an athlete throughout the year. She came back to WWE with her own name and joined the official roster at that time. Her victory on Tough Enough and later WWE success demonstrate her strong passion and resilience in professional wrestling.

Green built her professional wrestling foundation through her “Tough Enough” experience. Through “Tough Enough” she gained valuable training experience in WWE’s program plus met a wider fan base for her wrestling talents to shine. Despite receiving limited screen time at the competition she distilled important training insights that led her to more success.

Through 2023 Chelsea formally rose in her WWE accomplishments. At the Royal Rumble she came back to WWE and teamed up with Sonya Deville to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on July 17, 2023. They celebrated their tag team championship victory that made Green and Deville the first successful WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions to emerge from the “Tough Enough” television program.
