Jeff Hardy is motivated for his future

In December, Jeff Hardy was grappling with a six-man tag team match at a live event in Edinburg, Texas. Suddenly, Jeff had walked towards the fans and had effectively left the ring. Following this episode, Jeff Hardy was released from the company after the federation wanted to send him to rehab and he refused.
There have been a lot of words since then about his farewell from WWE, but during a recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Jeff returned to talk about it.
Latest update on Jeff Hardy
On December 9, 2021, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that Jeff Hardy’s contract with WWE has been terminated.
It followed a recent incident at a WWE house show on December 4 where Hardy was acting unusually and bolted from his tag team match midway through the contest. On his last stint in WWE: “That night in Edinburg, Texas I ran out of drums.
I went over the railing and walked away into the crowd. Of course, they thought I had taken something like drugs and things like that. If I had hired stuff like that, I wouldn’t have gone out there, that’s how I see it.
Again, it was one of the smartest things I’ve ever done because everything worked right, especially since on my first day at AEW I felt important for the first time. The care and love they have shown me, I shudder just thinking about it.
In WWE, it seemed like they just wanted to keep me there to sell action figures. I put so much love and joy into painting my face and fighting in the ring. This is something I’m super excited about in AEW as well.” On the fact that he didn’t want to be released on purpose: “I wasn’t trying to be released.
Just the thought of the Survivor Series was all a lot of fun. The connection with the audience and they wanted me to win was all great. They made me think a lot about SummerSlam, the big audience that was there. I was really happy.
I was so excited to be a part of it, but I wasn’t even directly involved. I asked myself several times, why was I still in WWE?…
