Marc-Andre Fleury has been around the NHL long enough to know this is around the time where trade rumors start to ramp up. We’re almost a month out from the March 21 deadline and most teams have a pretty good idea at this point whether they’ll be buyers or sellers.
“It’s part of the game, right?” Fleury said on Wednesday. “I feel like every trade deadline season you always hear a lot, especially guys whose deals are coming up to an end.”

And even if that may turn out to be the case, the Blackhawks aren’t going to trade him somewhere he doesn’t want to go.
Fleury was careful not to go too deep down this road, but he did acknowledge he would only want to play for a legitimate Stanley Cup contender if he were to be traded.
“If — IF — I move, I would love a chance to win,” Fleury…
