Jeff Jarrett Calls AEW New Star a ‘Perfect Fit’

Since its inception in 2019, AEW has successfully combined American, Mexican, and Japanese pro wrestling styles. This combination has enabled major performers to put on some of their best performances in their careers. Among those performers, there is always one who stands out, and according to Jeff Jarrett, the veteran star, he is the most suitable for AEW.

According to Jarrett, the company’s effort to bring this particular wrestler on board was a big milestone. Jeff Jarrett had his career come back on a high note in the year 2024 and he recently tackled the issue of AEW World Champion Danielson on his podcasts.

He was upbeat about the collaboration which the two bridged for the AEW promotion not surprising as it was on the cards that. “As I see it, that’s the same level of a star-like Bryan Danielson’s talent,” Jeff recalled.

“If we use another analogy, then it was like flat cake with flat cream on it. Essence and substance apart, it was a nourishing proposition because Bryan – the ‘Yes Movement’, showbiz and sports entertainment all of that was great, even a sweep.

Candidly speaking, none of this factors in the box office attraction that he is today and yet, and in spite of that, he is a true blue professional wrestler so when he did come to bed with this brand, I was so excited”.

Jarrett’s WWE Doubts

Jarrett moved on to talk about his concerns on whether Bryan would truly leave WWE in 2021. He believed that someone like Danielson, who is frequently referred to as “American Dragon,” would have transitioned to a backstage position in WWE.

Still, Jarrett said that Danielson’s success in AEW was the ‘run of a lifetime.’ Being a veteran in the boxing ring, Jarrett has had the chance to wrestle Danielson in one of the last few matches he had as a full-time wrestler.
