The 2023 U.S. Open will mark the 123rd edition of the major but just the second to take place in Los Angeles. The 2023 U.S. Open field will tee off Thursday, June 15 from the North Course at Los Angeles Country Club. The course has neither hosted a major before nor any PGA Tour event since 1940. Matt Fitzpatrick enters the U.S. Open 2023 as the defending champion after he bested Scottie Scheffler and Will Zalatoris by one stroke a year ago.
