CM Punk and Roman Reigns help SmackDown’s ratings

The last episode of SmackDown was full of emotions and surprises, which electrified the WWE Universe and also the fans who watched the show in WWE. It is no coincidence that the last episode of the red show obtained exceptional ratings, also because Survivor Series, the last of the ‘Fab Four’ of the WWE calendar, is getting closer and closer.

As everyone knows by now, CM Punk – also thanks to the intermediation of Paul Heyman who made his return on-screen after several months – has decided to ally with Roman Reigns and the Original Bloodline in view of the clash against the New Bloodline which will take place on Saturday 30 November.

According to Brandon Thurston, a well-known analyst at ‘WrestleNomics’, the last juncture of the November 22nd episode of SmackDown – in which it was revealed that CM Punk would be the last member of the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames – totaled 1.72 million viewers (in the last 15 minutes of the show).

Fans are eager to witness the clash between the Original Bloodline and the New Bloodline, which could give a memorable show in the last major WWE event of 2024. The presence of a legend like CM Punk and the contribution of Paul Heyman are a really good move by Triple H, who is demonstrating all his intelligence behind the scenes.

In a recent interview with ‘Notsam Wrestling’, Heyman opened up on his relationship with The Game: “I can’t speak for Paul Leveque, I don’t know when or where he may have garnered that level of respect for me, I can tell you: I’ve always been a Paul Leveque guy.

The vision that he had, that as much as ‘I love the past and I’m grounded in the rudimentary and fundamental ways of the business, we got to push it forward;’ even back then, in ’97, I was like ‘Wow, this guy has his finger on the pulse of the future.

That level of collaboration at the top? I don’t know anybody in the history of this industry that does it as well as Paul…
