Kurt Angle pays tribute to Ronda Rousey

“Ronda Rousey has adapted to wrestling a lot better than we could imagine. The emotional and psychological component plays a fundamental role in this business if you know what I mean. I was really surprised by his ability to learn quickly.

Her progress has been enormous and hardly anyone expected it. She has always been a formidable champion, but it was not taken for granted that wrestling would become her habitat. Adapting so quickly to a new context is not for everyone” – explained Kurt Angle.

The former Olympic gold medalist also said good words for AJ Styles: “Let me tell you something about AJ Styles, of whom I am a huge fan. All those who had the opportunity to work with him had a great time. He manages to create terrific chemistry with anyone.

He may not yet be at the level of a legend like Shawn Michaels, but he will join him from here to the end of his career. AJ is a truly exceptional performer”. Angle officially retired at WrestleMania 35, after losing his last match to Baron Corbin.
